Aryan Junior College

Located at the heart of Silchar in a town called Rangikhari, the Aryan Junior College offers affordable yet high-quality education with the optional streams of Science, Commerce, and Arts. The college is run by Sanjibani, a society registered under the Registration Act of Societies XXI of 1860 that engages educational upliftment.

The Aryan Junior College educate and train their students to associate the things they learn in class with the things that exist in their natural surroundings to develop a deeper connection and understanding of the world outside their own. Excursions and educative tours are frequently arranged to help students get acquainted not only with the natural environment but also with the cultures of the various ethnic groups in the state of Silchar.

Seeds of Love Worldwide Organization have partnered up with Aryan Junior College since summer of 2018 for our scholarship recipients to obtain the best education possible under dedicated and competent instructors and faculties. All members of the Aryan Junior College believe in the importance of a strong based education and exhibit passion and care towards underprivileged students in their local communities. With the same vision and competence to deliver results, Seeds of Love Worldwide Organization and Aryan Junior College are bringing uplifting changes to the lives of the underprivileged students in Silchar, India.

Girls and Boys Hostels

With the help of local volunteers and excellent “on the ground” support from MBRS Principal Sir Sadak Chakma, we were able to find gender segregated hostels for our scholars. Similar to a US college dormitory, both hostels in Silchar provide healthy meals, board and lodging and conducive study quarters for the students.

Our Onsite Volunteers and Partners

We have an excellent team of local volunteers who provide support and guidance to our students. To name a few, we have Sir Swapan and his wife who mentor our scholars and serve as our Silchar contact when we are on the field; Madam Indrani, who offers free English tutoring on Saturday evenings; Dr. Jayashish Majumader gives free biology tuition and Sir Kanwal also helps our students on Math and other subjects as needed as well as emotional support.

Our Silchar Scholars

As emphasized in our mission “Identify, support and train individuals from struggling communities as agents of change to serve and give back to the community,” our main goal is to Educate, Empower and Elevate our scholars. Besides providing strong educational, emotional, and physical support for our students by keeping in close contact with our students and volunteers in India, SOLWW also educate our scholarship recipients about the importance of giving back. We require our scholars to complete a certain hours of community service during school breaks whether it is tutoring younger students or removing debris on the road after a devastating flood. Community service is an important  part of our scholarship program that allows our students to see their capability of bringing positive change to those around them as well as helping them develop essential leadership skills.
